Question

My return was a lot smaller than turbotax's "Guaranteed Amount" due to an error they made, I paid for the guarantee, how do I collect the rest of my money owed to me?

They didn't deduct the $1200 stimulus payment, but how is that a relief if you owe it to the government through garnishing your refund, times are still hard rn, I can't afford to loose that money

Your refund is not a guaranteed amount.   The accuracy of TurboTax's calculations are guaranteed to be accurate.   But the IRS has the final say.   If there was something entered incorrectly by you on your tax return, or income you left out, or if the IRS discovers that you owe back tax or child support, etc. your refund can be reduced.  If your refund was changed by the IRS they will send you a letter explaining what they changed and why.

Have you seriously never read Turbotax's guarantee's.  Here's a link: https://turbotax.intuit.com/corp/guarantees/

And, the error was made by Turbotax, I entered the correct info, they just forgot to deduct it before "guaranteeing" my refund. I have all the paperwork and proof of this error.  Where can I get my money?

No one in this user forum can see your tax return so we have no idea what error occurred with your return---most errors are user errors.  But you can have a discussion with customer support.  We do not resolve billing issues in the forum.

No one in the user forum can resolve a billing issue.  If you have a question about your TurboTax fees or billing, make sure you use the word “billing” in your request for help.  Do not use the word “refund.”
