Question

My return was rejected because it says that my birthday doesn't match up? I've tried to fix it several times, but it keeps being rejected.

Please follow these steps to update your birthday:

  • Login to your TurboTax Account 
  • Click "Take Me To My Return"
  • Click "My Info" from the left side of your screen
  • Scroll down and click "Edit" next to your name
  • Correct your birthdate.
  • Click "Continue"

Verify that your birthday shows correctly on the "Personal info summary" page. If that doesn't correct your issue please contact the Social Security Administration at 1-800-772-1213 to verify that their records are correct.
