My review keeps prompting me to fill out a 1099, which we did not receive this year. Does Turbo tax know what forms have been sent to the IRS for individuals filing?

My husband received them in the past but not this year. Why is it asking me for the information?

TurboTax doesn't know what forms have been filed with the IRS for an individual. TurboTax does bring forward information/forms from the prior year, thinking it will save you time if you need to use it.

You can do the following to delete that Form 1099:

Click on "Search" on the top right of your TurboTax screen
Type "1099" in the search box
Select the link "jump to 1099"
You will see a summary page for 1099's
Click on Delete or the trash can icon to remove the form
