Question

My son is adopted. All questions related to both parents or other parent are not applicable. This questionnaire page does not seem to allow for that.

My son is adopted. There is NOT another parent. This form apparently will not accept an answer that indicates the question is not applicable. How is that handled in Turbo Tax.

When you are in the My Info section of the program and are asked about the relationship, you should have selected My Child.  Then makes sure you answered the questions, that the child lived in your home for the whole year, that the time was all in the U.S., and you and your spouse (if married) are the child's legal parents.
