My son (Who is 17 and I claim as a dependant) worked in 2018 and rec'd a W-2. He made less than $1000. What do I need to do?

You don't need to do anything if he had no federal tax withheld from his W-2. You do not enter any of his income on your tax return. If he had federal tax withheld, he should file a return to get a refund. If he had no federal tax withheld, there is no need for him to file a tax return since his income was way under the $12,000 limit for someone to be required to file a return. If he does file a return, he needs to indicate on it that he can be claimed by someone else.
