My state tax is being rejected with the error code TY24_VA_Military_Benefits but that does not apply to me. Is this a glitch?

Check the Personal Info section in your Federal return to make sure you didn't accidently indicate any Military affiliation.

Does your reported income come from any Military source (such as DFAS)?

You could step through your State interview again to verify the same. If you're using TurboTax Online, but try clearing your Cache and Cookies first.

Another option would be to delete your state return, and re-install it and go through the interview.
