Question

My state tax payment was deducted from my federal refund,but the state charged me too!

I opted to have my state tax come

out of my federal and it did,but the state just charged me for it as well. I feel ripped off!

You must have misunderstood something. State taxes owed can Never be paid from the federal tax refund.

Only the TurboTax account fees can be paid from the federal tax refund when the pay with refund option is selected.

You have to pay the state taxes owed and you will receive the Full amount of the federal tax refund.
