it's your social security number. you do have one don't you? if you forgot it, you'll have to contact the Social security adm and find out the nearest social security office to visit and what documents to bring. this is not something they will tell you over the phone.

I am trying to get tested for the virus and they want my tax id number. If I give my social security number they will accept that ?

Your tax ID number is your Social Security number.
