Question

My tax return got rejected twice because it says my SSN is wrong or my name is but it’s not ive checked it over again. What do i do?

Your return is rejecting because the Name and or Social Security Number, as you entered on your return, does not exactly match how it is on your Social Security Card.

If the information is not correct on your Social Security Card you need to contact the social security office and have them correct the information.

If your return keeps rejecting you will need to print your return and mail it to the IRS. If you need to mail the return you will need to attach a copy of your W-2(s) and any other tax document that you have withholding listed.
