Question

My tax return is giving me an error saying that the What-If worksheet: Other Income the amounts are too large or too small. I should checked everything and can't find it

I have looked through the what if worksheet, and cannot find anything inaccurate and have double checked all other numbers on my return

Other Income on your federal tax return would refer to entries on Schedule 1 most likely. You can view that schedule while working in the online TurboTax by following these steps, which may help you identify where the problem is:

 

  1. Click on Tax Tools in the left menu bar
  2. Click on Tools
  3. Look under Other Helpful links….
  4. Choose View Tax Summary
  5. Look in the left menu bar and choose Preview my 1040
  6. Scroll down the page to see form 1040 and schedules 1 to 3
