My tax return was rejected for not having a 1095 and or 8962 form. I didn’t receive health coverage for 2021 so what forms will I use?

If you used TurboTax last year, then much of your information transferred over to your 2021 tax return.

Thus, the program believes you have a form 1095-A that needs to be added. 

Entering/deleting a 1095-A:

1. Open your return.
2. Enter 1095-a in the Search box (upper right of the program screen).
3. Click on Jump to 1095-a
4. Answer NO when asked if you have a Form 1095-A.  Or delete the Form 1095-A if listed.

If that does not solve the issue:

To delete a Form:

1. Open your return.
2. In the left-hand column, locate Tax Tools, click on the drop-down arrow then click on Tools
3. On the Tools Center page, click on Delete a form
4. A list of forms will appear. Locate the Form 1095-A and click Delete next to it.
5. On the next screen, click Delete Form
