We need more information.    Do you mean you mailed your tax return but did not include copies of your W-2's with the Form 1040?   When you file by mail you are supposed to include those with your signed tax form.  If the IRS sent it back to you you need to make sure you signed and dated the Form 1040 in ink and you have to include copies of your W-2's and any 1099's that show tax withheld----and mail it back to the IRS.

No I did not send it by mail. Turbo Tax sent it electronically for me. Turbo Tax sent me an e-mail stating the IRS had accepted the tax return. That was about a month ago. This week I received mail from IRS stating they needed W-2's and signatures for return. What did I pay Turbo Tax to do?

Why haven't I received a response to my question? I have used turbo tax to file my taxes for 8 straight years now, but it appears it won't be 9 years. I'm very disappointed.
