my tax returns are completed andI want to e-file. I am not getting the screen to instruct TurboTax to e-file

Click on File on the left side of the screen if you are using the TurboTax online editions.

You complete your tax return by finishing all 3 Steps in the File section. In Step 3, to e-file your tax return, you must click on the large Orange button labeled "Transmit my returns now".

After completing the File section and e-filing your tax return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first email when your tax return was transmitted and the second email when the tax return has either been accepted or rejected.

If using Online TurboTax, when you log in are you stuck at the Tax Home with no "Take me to my return" button, and you don't know how to open the return back up?

If that's your situation, then to get back inside your return, click on "Add a State."  That doesn't really add one, but will open your unfiled return back up.
