Question

My tax was rejected due to typo but it was finally accepted. Was my payment to IRS submitted once IRS accepted my file?

It depends.

 

It may take a few extra days to process during peak season but yes, your payment will go through and be applied to your account as being a timely payment.

 

You can use the following link to determine the status of your payments and account with the IRS directly.  This is your best option at this point in time.
