If you can't fix your rejected return and e-file, just print and mail it instead.

 

Got rejected? Don't take it personally. It just means that some things on your return don't match what the IRS has in their database. Here's how you can fix it.

Step 1: Check your email

Step 2: Search for a solution

Step 3: Open and fix your return

Step 4: Re-file your return
