My taxes were accepted I filed late when should I expect my approval

You can check the status of your Federal tax return on the IRS website, Where's My Refund (if you have a refund coming.

Did you e-file your return by going all the way through the File section until you click on Transmit Now?

If you did you can check your e-file status it will show pending, accepted, or rejected.

If you mailed in your tax return, you did not get an acceptance notice. It can take the IRS 6 months or more to process a mailed in return.
