Question

My turbotax filing was rejected. Can I go to a CPA instead of amending the tax return on Turbotax?

I filed taxed with a local tax accountant, and the refund didn't seem accurate, so I filed with turbotax. I didnt realize the CPA filed the taxes electronically. The turbotax filing was rejected because the CPA already filed. I have since talked to the CPA, and he amended the taxes, so I was wondering if I could cancel my filing with Turbotax

Since the Turbo Tax return rejected there is nothing you need to do here.  You can just leave it and abandon it.  If you use Turbo Tax next year you should setup a new account so the wrong info doesn't transfer from 2019.

Did you pay to file your taxes using TurboTax? If you didn't pay, you can just abandon your account. TurboTax accounts can't be cancelled.

If you paid and want a refund, you must contact Turbotax directly for that. See this: https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/using-turbotax/help/what-is-the-turbotax-phone-number/00/25632
