If you are legally married and live together you can only file as Married Filing Jointly or Married Filing Separately. You would want to file as MFJ since you receive the highest Standard Deduction for tax year 2018 of $24,000 if under age 65. A spouse is never claimed as a dependent.
Social Security Retirement/Disability/Survivors benefits are reported on a form SSA-1099 and the benefits received are reported on a federal tax return.
There are no tax credits for being married and disabled.
Head of Household filing status when married is only available if you have not lived with your spouse at any time during the last six months of the year. You have a qualifying child as a dependent. You have provided over one-half the cost to maintain the home for the year. The Head of Household standard deduction is far less than the standard deduction for Married Filing Jointly at only $18,000.
