My wife owes student loans we file jointly. She didnt work this year, I am the only income so with an injured spouse how much can the federal government take?

    Unless you live in a community property state, when you complete the Injured Spouse Allocation, you will allocate all your income and withholding to you, if that is the case.

     You should receive your full refund from the IRS.
