My wife was stay home mom for full year of 2020 and did not earn an income. Turbo Tax prompting for W2 information based on her 2019 employment, how can I skip?

After entering your W-2 and going thru the interview you will reach a W-2 summary page called "Here's your W-2 info.  Click delete next to your wife's W-2.  

Even if you don't delete it, no $ info from last year carried forward.

Why does this happen? When you transfer the information from your prior year return, the program automatically includes certain forms in the current year - to make sure you don't forget to update those forms or report income that you had in the past and might still have. If a form is no longer required (e.g. W-2, 1099-R, K-1s, Schedule C), you have to delete them from the current year.
