My wife worked for an elderly women who paid her for home care services from her long term insurance policy. We did not recieve any tax documents how do we file?

My wife worked for an elderly women who paid her for home care services from her long term insurance policy. We did not receive any tax documents so how do we file the income my wife received?"

Due to no W-2 or 1099Misc your wife will need to report the income on a Sch C business.  She will report the income as "General Income" due to no 1099.

Expenses related to earning the income can then be deducted also, such as uniforms, mileage, if a license was required to do the care, etc.
