Question

My withholding for one of my jobs was only $9 after I made over $12,000. I checked my allowances and everything seems to have lined up. Any idea what happened here?

I'm curious because my elections all line up and it just seems like my employer didn't withhold the money. Is this common? Is this legal? It's caused me to have a higher tax bill than I had anticipated.
