NE I HAD MY IDENTITY STOLEN ON MMY 2012 IRS RETURN AND THIRS SENT ME A (IP PIN# ) IT SAYS I MUST ENTER IT IN YOUR BOX 'IDENTITY PROTECTION PIN', BUT THERES NO SUCH BOX.

THE LETTER  FROM IRS STATES THEY 'WILL' REJECT IF ITS NOT INCLUDED...HELP!! THERE IP PIN IS 6 DIGITS BUT YOUR PIN IS 5 DIGITS. WHAT DO I DO TO GET THIS EXTENSION FILED TODAy??

Extension?  You cannot file an extension since the deadline was April 15, 2015.

To enter your 6 digit Identity Protection PIN - 

  • Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
  • Click on Other Tax Situations
  • Scroll down to Other Return Info
  • On Identity Protection PIN, click the start button
