Need my filing changed. It's SINGLE when it should be HEAD OF Household. I can't get it changed or pulled up! Help! How do I change IT?

You will have to have a dependent and change the status in My Info.

The status is changed in the My Info section located on the left sidebar of the input screen.

If you need to add a dependent

Log into TurboTax

1. Select My Info or Personal Info
2. Click the down arrow to the right of your name
3. You can see your Information
4. Scroll down and select [Add another dependent]
5. Follow the interview
6. Do not check the statement
7. [] Another taxpayer can claim me as a dependent on their tax return.

Now to change your filling status, you will stay in the same section

• Scroll up to your name
• Click the arrow on the right to up
• [Revisit]
• Continue the interview to About your household
• Select your Filling Status
