If you e-filed or mailed in your return and it was accepted by the IRS, you can use IRS Form 8822, Change of Address (form and instructions) to notify them of an address change.

 

If you need to change your address in the TurboTax software,

  1. Go My Info.
  2. On the Personal info summary screen, scroll down to Mailing address and click on Edit. 
  3. You will be able to update your address on the next screen.
