Need to edit return that was finished but never mailed out

Hello,

I paid for TurboTax online and had a problem with submitting my return online. So I ended up printing there return. However, there is a change that needs to happen and TurboTax will only allow me to file an amended tax return, even though it was never sent out.

How can I edit the tax return that I already paid for but never sent out. I shouldn't have to pay a 2nd time to do my tax return all over again - for the same year.

Please let me know what would be the best way to resolve this.

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.

This will take you back to the 2020 online tax return where you can make your changes before filing the tax return.
