Need to file an extension ASAP, HELP!
I've started my taxes and I still need to add some write offs that I missed. I want to file an extension and I attempted to do this on the turbo tax website, but why is it asking for both my spouse and I to "create a 5 digit signature ID" when I told turbo tax that I was filing on my own (and not with my spouse). He already filed. Does this random number matter and will it affect his return? Help! I just need to extend for myself and I don't see an option that says to "extend for yourself only".
