Need to report After Tax 401k Roll over to Roth 401k?

Hi, my employer's 401k plan allows me to directly roll over After Tax 401k contribution into Roth 401k. I received a 1099R and entered the info into Turbo Tax, but no 8606 form was generated.

Is it because don't need to report direct in plan 401k rollover to IRS?

I do see a 8606 Form generated for my personal  individual Traditional IRA rollover to Roth IRA though. So do I only need to report IRA roll over (and not 401k rollover) to IRS?

Don't want to make a mistake doing my taxes on Turbo Tax. Would anyone kindly help me? Thanks so much!!!

Form 8606 isn't create for a 401(k) to Roth 401(k) conversion. Please see Who Must File Form 8606 for additional details.
