Hello, I work full time and I have never filled out a w4. What does this do and what do you recommend moving forward?

Hello!  All employers should require you to fill out a Form W-4 when you start working for them.  Generally, the Human Resources Department will provide the form to you.  The purpose of the W-4 is to let your employer know how you plan to file your personal individual tax return for the year.  This lets the employer know how to calculate the income taxes to withheld from your paycheck.  You should be able to check with your HR Dept to get a copy of what you filed with them when you began working.
