If your child is listed as your dependent, then the Health Insurance section will ask if covered by insurance in 2016.  You can select covered the whole year, or which months, but you do not need to enter a form. The 1095-B or 1095-C forms are already shared with the IRS.  Only 1095-A forms from the Covered California Marketplace option need to be entered into the tax return.
