New York Tax Refund: How to choose Direct Deposit instead of a paper check?

How do I set the refund I will receive for my 2024 NY income tax to direct deposit instead of a paper check that it is apparently set to by default?

    To set your refund method to direct deposit, please follow the instructions below:

    1. Open or continue your return.
    2. Select File.
    3. Select Start or Revisit or Continue next to Step 2 Your refund/payment info.
    4. Select See all options on the Get your refund up to 5 days early screen.
    5. Choose Direct deposit and follow the onscreen instructions.
