NJ State filing as an expat

I've lived in the UK for a few years now, and all my income comes from the UK. I use the foreign income exclusion on my federal taxes, but whenever I add NJ on my TurboTax account, there doesn't seem to be a way to exclude state taxes. I'm confused why I would owe NJ money for income earned abroad, when I haven't lived there in years.

The only hesitation I have in not filing is that I am still registered to vote and have my driver's license registered to NJ, and don't want to lose either of those. Is there a way to file and not owe tax from my foreign income?
