None of my turbotax desktop programs will open

I installed TurboTax Personal and TurboTax Business for 2024 in December 2024. It worked just fine until 4-9-2025. Suddenly neither program will open when I click on a file or the program icon. What is the solution? remove and reinstall? Other?

Another user was having this problem and this is how they were able to fix:

Creating a new user account on my Windows laptop

Signing in to the new user account
I opened FireFox via the new user account, typed in InstallTurboTax.com

I'm not sure if the new user account was necessary or if using FireFox was what did it. You might try FireFox first before creating a new user account.
