NSO Stock Sale and W2 numbers not matching

Sold some NSO stock options and that income appears to be reported on my w2 but don't believe the tax with holdings are when I ran some numbers. I just imported the 1099B from the brokerage and entered all that detail. FYI the 1099B does not show any taxes withheld as it should be through my W2 but I don't believe they are there when I run my numbers for withholding on my paystubs to w2. My taxes now show my income with an additional amount equal to what my employer already recorded as my stock option income. I am wondering if I am missing entering something related to tax withholders or I am doing something else wrong related to stock and entering that. Any suggestions or guidance would be appreciated.

Since the gain on that stock sale (Form 1099-B) was included as income on your W-2, to avoid double taxation:

You will need to change the stock basis on the date of the sale, to the price on the date of sale.
The result is zero gain or a minor loss due to brokers commission/fees.
The IRS will expect to see that information on your tax return.
