Numbers in the forms and the TurboTax software interface don't match

Hi,

The TurboTax Software interface shows:

When I click the "$-233", it shows the following:

However, the total capital loss for stocks etc should be $3233 (not $3229), and the amount applied to 2024 should be $3000 (not $2996). Those number are correct in the forms. Is it a bug? Do I need to worry about the discrepancies?

Thanks

To start it's a $4 discrepancy so I wouldn't worry about it too much.  Second, I'm not sure where the $4 comes from.  Is it another loss for the year entered somewhere else in the return?

If it's from a big load of individual stock transactions, it could be the result of Rounding being done in a different way.

i.e. If you didn't use rounding until the very end, but TTX used it for each transaction, that $4 difference could be the difference.  (no, I'm not sure where & when TTX rounds)
