Hello, live in NJ, work for a company in New York City, have filed NJ, NY state taxes, not sure if should file NYC city tax, since the form 1127.2 was not issued by the employer.. My w2 doesn’t have NYC employer address… commute to work from NJ to NYC..

Only New York City residents and nonresidents who work for the city have to pay the New York City income tax.  If you worked for a private employer, you would not have to pay the city income tax.
