Understand that Turbotax does not file a tax return by any means for any person, for any reason. There are no exceptions.

If you elected to e-file your tax return, then it's up to you to click that big orange TRANSMIT MY RETURNS NOW button.

If you elected to print, sign and mail your tax return, then it's up to you to print it, sign it, and mail it to the IRS.

If you are due a refund, TurboTax has nothing to do with that. Under no circumstances does TurboTax act as a middleman in that transaction. There are no exceptions.

If you elected to pay your TurboTax fees from your refund, that is handled by a third party called Santa Barbara Tax Products Group. Their web site is at sbtpg.com. Once the IRS has "sent" your refund, you can track it's progress on the sbtpg.com website.

If you did NOT elect to pay your TurboTax fees from your refund, then the refund transaction is directly between you and the IRS. TurboTax is not involved in that transaction in any way, shape form or fashion.
