the flexibility of the old program was much better

      there are various versions of Turbotax. i prefer the desktop version which has both interview and forms mode. others prefer one of the online versions.     the complications are not entirely Turbotax's fault.  the government keeps changing the rules and doing this and that which complicates both the programming and the process you use to enter your data.
