I did my Federal and State taxes online.   The Federal refund was $8,400.00 and State was $0. When I printed out the return to mail, it listed the Federal refund as $6,200.00 and $0.00 for State.    A review revealed no entry errors.  Can’t figure out why the difference.   I have downloaded the latest updates.

We can't see your return so it's hard to pinpoint what changed.

    Hi Catalina:

I just accessed the on-line account. The returns were listed on the Welcome page with Federal and State refund amounts and listed as ready to mail with a date of 1/30/2025.  I have not e-filed or mailed them.   I can't access the return to make a correction on Line 1a.  Forgot to include some W-2 wages.

    Thanks for the help

It sounds like you told TurboTax that you were going to file by mail, so the only way back in is the following:

    1. TurboTax Online, sign into your account.
    2. Select Tax Home in the left menu.
    3. Scroll down to Your tax returns & documents.
    4. Select the current year, and then select Add a State (you're not actually adding a state, this just gets you into the right area).
    5. Make the changes you need.

This is what you do when you tell TurboTax you want to file by mail but change your mind before you mail anything...
