On the 1099-INT it asks about the 6 states that handles tax on interest differently...NH is listed, however not listed in the help section.

Most states tax interest income the same as Federal.  Exceptions are State government interest and US government interest, which are not taxable by many states.

 

In going though your state interview, you may be asked to allocate the amount of interest from your Federal return that is taxable in New Hampshire.
