Once my return has been filed, how can I verify that I selected electronic payment?

You can verify the tax payment or federal refund method you chose on the Electronic Filing Instructions for your 2024 Federal Tax Return page, next to Balance Due/Refund. To go to the page, follow these instructions:

1. Sign in to TurboTax and open your return.
2. On the Tax Home screen, scroll to Your tax returns & documents and select Add a State (don't worry, you're not actually adding a state, this just gets you into the right area) to access your tax forms and worksheets.
3. In the menu, select Tax Tools, then Print Center.
4. On the TurboTax Print Center screen, select Print, save or preview this year’s return.
5. On the next TurboTax Print Center screen, select 2024 Federal return and Include government and TurboTax worksheets, then select View or print forms.
6. The information will be on the first page, Electronic Filing Instructions for your 2024 Federal Tax Return, next to Balance Due/Refund.

If you requested direct debit from your bank account, the Filing Instructions page will have the bank routing and account numbers shown along with the requested date of payment.  Use Print Center to access your tax return with the Filing Instructions.

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state. 

This will take you back to the 2024 online tax return.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen.  Then click on Print Center.  Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return.  Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets

If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created.  TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.
