Question

Our $1228 Virginia return was adjusted to $0 due to "federal agi calculation error". We live in WV and filled out the 763-s form. Any advice to get our money back?

My wife has always worked in VA and we have always lived in WV. We pay into WV for her as her employer does not pay WV from her income. I spoke with the taxation department and they said the auditor denied our nonresident refund.
