Question

Our son graduated college last year. full time job in september. we supported him until full time job. he earned $13,500. can we claim him as a dependent?

how does he file for his refund?

    If in 2018 he was a full time student under age 24 you can claim him if he didn’t provide more than half of his support.  He files his own return taking care to check the box saying someone can claim him.
