Paid for turbo tax at best buy. Why does the program want me to pay $89.00 when I try to file my return?

When you purchased the software from Best Buy you were supposed to install the software on your personal computer.  During the installation process you had enter the 16 digit license code.  Then start a New tax return with the software you installed.  Complete and file the tax return using the installed software.

You are now using one of the TurboTax online editions which you did not purchase from Best Buy and after completing the online tax return you are being asked to pay for the online edition you are using.

Now you have to decide what you want to do -

1. Return the software to Best Buy and maybe get a refund
2. Pay for the online edition and file your return
3. Download the tax data file to your computer and finish the return using the software you purchased
