Paid random amount federal tax early in Jan. due to knowing I would owe through IRS direct pay. How do I enter this one time $ in Turbo TAX?

In Turbotax, go to the PERSONAL TAB and then choose:
- Deductions & Credits
- Estimates & Other Taxes Paid
- Estimates
Choose Federal Estimated Taxes for 2024 and then:
- Did you pay federal taxes for 2024? Answer Yes
- Choose the 4th Quarter, since the January payment would apply to that Quarter.
(If payments are made during any other quarters, input accordingly.) - Enter the date you made the payment (in your case January 2025).
- Enter the amount you paid.
Follow the CONTINUE button to conclude.
