Why is does it take so long (3 1/2 Days) to get through?

We have no control over phone hold times here in the user forum--one obvious guess would be that with the filing deadline only days away, the phone lines are swamped. We can help in the user forum with most kinds of questions except for resolving billing issues. Try posting here -- it would likely get you some answers faster.
