DO you mean your only income is a W2 with $80 in Box 1?

Not exactly sure of what you mean but maybe I should try and explain better it was a final paycheck and evidently it's been a very bad year

You haven't got the W2 yet?  If you only got one paycheck in 2017 for less than $100 you don't have a filing requirement.  Did you have any other income, like unemployment?

How much in unemployment?  Did you have any federal taxes taken from the unemployment?

I'm not exactly sure how much I collected but I'm sure it was a couple thousand that being said should I be expecting a w2  from unemployment

They should send you a 1099g for the unemployment.

Are you a dependent of anyone else?  If not, and your total income is less than 10,400 you don't have a filing requirement.  BUT if they withheld federal taxes from the unemployment you would want to file a return to get that withholding refunded.
