Purchasing the Turbo tax Deluxe. Will I receive a downloaded product in the mail or is everything done remotely?

Desktop software is a download---you will not receive anything in the mail unless you decide you want to order a CD for an extra fee of $10 after you pay for the download and have your license key.   The CD is not necessary, but there are still some users who want to use a CD anyway.

You can also purchase the desktop download from various retailers such as Costco, Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, Staples, Sam’s Club, etc. etc. etc.

When you use desktop software, there is an additional fee to e-file a state return.  You can avoid that fee if you print, sign and mail the state return.
