Ready to file. Turbo Tax says I can't e file

I have to say I am a bit relieved that many are having this problem.  Sorry guys.  This is super frustrating.  I don't have any new forms this year, and I've been e filing for 15 years.  It says I can't efile due to tax forms but it won't tell me what forms are triggering this.   I do not want to file by mail.  I want to e file.   Fortunately we will be getting a small return but I don't trust the mail service, where we live.   I'm seeing older comments before 1/29/24.  Today is the 30th.  Has anyone had any luck yet?  What can we do?  It would be nice to know what they are saying is "wrong".

@MoniqueBernardo  Yep. Totally agree and stupid/should be an easy fix and  Intuit / Turbo Tx should be in FRONT of it instead of many frustrating posts (and how many aren’t even posting! Wackadooooodle. 😳

This is a known issue in TurboTax and we are working to resolve it as soon as possible. As soon as we have a resolution for you, it'll be shared on Community. The issue is scheduled to be resolved end of 1/31. Please do not file prior to 2/1.

    Great to know—tomorrow is 1/31. 🤔 🤔

Stillllllll a mystery that on irs’s own 1099-G (their transcript of your return),  they do not have a clue or a line stating “adjusted gross income”. Wacko.

@CatinaT1 Anyway, we all look forward to seeing Turbo Tax figure this out (esp those of us with years of info in historical documents of filings held be Turbo Tax). Nutty!

This s*cks and completely idiotic of irs. I still can’t believe they don’t list agi on THEIR transcript form !!!!! Yet they ask for it as shown on transcript. Morons.

what is the correct irs phone number to call as this can only be solved speaking with a person.

INTUIT/TURBO TAX:  If you see many people having this issue, why don’t YOU try to get in front of it with irs? More stupidity.

Requests a transcript of your 2022 tax return from the IRS. You can request your transcript online at the following link: Get Transcript

Please click on this TurboTax article for more information on finding your AGI from last year.

The number to the IRS is 800.829.1040.

@CatinaT1  Your link on the site is not that helpful. AGI is *on* form 1040 and yet the irs transcript does not list it. *Everyone* thinks that is bonkers, it’s not a matter of finding it ourselves or knowing how to compute. irs obviously has issues if people (see earlier threads) put in “bogus $0 for AGI for prior year” and that got accepted.  Not normal. 🤭😱

It is a Turbotax Software Issue that has not been resolved. It evolves around the Schedule C (Self Employment) document.
