Received 1099 misc for income earned in KY then moved to OH, how do I keep both states from taxing the income

You have to allocate the income between the two states.  You need to tell KY in the Income screens how much of the Schedule C income was earned there, and do the same in the Ohio Allocation or adjustments screen.  If you don't know the exact amounts, divide the income proportionate to the time you lived in each state.
